Prahran is one of those places known for plenty of other things but there are lots of dogs here and lots of great places for dog walking. Everyone knows how busy Chapel Street is and when you can get away from there (and the doof doof music!) dog walking is fun with a variety of wonderful parks and shaded streets. The Yarra River is nearby and you can get to many other larger parks just down the road (including Fawkner Park and The Tan).
The other great benefit offered in Prahran is the number of cafes here and we often find full dog water bowls while we are walking dogs. To make it a little easier and more comfortable for the dogs we avoid peak hours including school drop off and pick up times.
