Dog walking in St Kilda and St Kilda West is great due to the variety of spaces available. Dog Concierge has lived in this area and has visited every street, park and beach. It would be easy to see the obvious – those glorious beaches and beachside parks. Whether you look at Catani Gardens or St Kilda Beach itself, there is always something going on and plenty of walking dogs out and about enjoying a play.
However there are a lot of other parks (some are large enough to stay and wander while others are delightful asides on a longer journey) and the streets lend themselves to dog walking. If you avoid the main roads, they can be quiet and the dogs always find something they would like to sniff along the way!
And of course, Albert Park Lake is just across the road with all of its great spaces for walking dogs. Off-leash, on-leash, just wandering around or pushing hard – dog walks here are a treat for all concerned.
