OK. Yesterday was the winter solstace here in Melbourne and it’s going to get down to 4 degrees tonight! Lovely night for a dog walk…
Well. Actually it is!
Not too many dogs turn up their nose at the chance to get out and about and spend time with other like-minded creatures (I guess that includes us!). They have the usual requirements (are we allowed to say they need a poo and a wee?) and the dog walk is a ritual they need – it is so important that dogs to get together with other dogs, socialise and play.
With the weather the way it is though, we must plan. Plan to have fun on the dog walk, plan to return to a nice dry towell and a way to get warm so we can do what we all want to do – bask in the joy of having achieved something together!
Buddy is always at his best when he’s had a good long walk – hot or cold, wet or dry. With a night like tonight though, a little extra effort can mean even more.
We hope to see you out there – if you see us while you are walking your dog, come up and say hello!
